Bloom with Whimsy — Forest Floor

Most makers see beauty in things that others might walk right past unnoticed. When the artist saw a community discord note about a found antler shed, asking if anyone would have a use for it — she could already picture a scene unfolding. One maker, seeing value in something but not sure how to use it, lead to another claiming it for a one of a kind creation.

The artist did not want to change the antler — it is beautiful as is. She wanted to meet it where it was and enhance its story. This scene is a collection of many stories; the travels of the antler, the ventures of the key, the visitors to the doorbell, and the journeys of the scrap glass. They all come together into a new story representing nature and serenity with a bit of whimsy.
